About Zane
Dog Training for me started in 2012 while serving in 2nd Ranger Battalion. I found it to be a passion of mine I simply couldn't live without. After two deployments as a dog handler I found myself out of the Army and trying to find my own way through life. I tried various jobs but I simply felt like all that experience would be wasted if I didn't continue my dog training career. I decided to pursue what I was good at and what I loved...Dog Training. In 2017 I found myself in Virgina and decided to launch my own business and share my experience and knowledge through helping others achieve their goals with their 4 legged family members. I have experience with Special Operations K-9's, Police K-9, Bomb Detection, Sport work, and of course pets as well. I have multiple titles with my dogs, currently a registered AKC evaluator and because of my background/skill set was able to travel the United States as a bomb dog handler with my own dog in 2018 with the highest paid touring artist of that year. I enjoy working with every dog because each dog is unique in their own way and requires a tailored solution. Most importantly though is helping people find their own success by teaching people to speak in a language the dog understands in order to build an unshakable bond and add to the quality of life.
Our Methodology
How I Train
Balanced training is the quickest way to reach success and find enjoyment along the way. For any dog I get my hands on, the first goal is to build a very fun and rewarding obedience foundation. Once the dog loves to do obedience in a comfortable environment, we step outside of that in the public arena, so you have reliable obedience when it counts the most. What's most important is to have fun and build a rewarding relationship with the dog so when you take your dog into the public arena everything else fades and your left feeling confident and in control of any situation.
